Another song about money, which I remember from my childhood, is by Abba. It’s called simply, “Money, money, money”, and has a different attitude towards money than the song by the Beatles. This video was recorded for Japanese TV!
What is the singer’s feelings about money, do you think? Post your ideas as comments! 🙂

Finally, if you won the lottery, and you suddenly had lots of money, what would you do with it? How would you spend it? What would you do?
Here’s a song by a band called the Barenaked Ladies, from Canada. Think about those questions while you listen to what the singer would do with his money. At the end he says that he would “… buy your love …” with the money, which takes us neatly back to the question I posed after the Beatles clip – can money buy love? I hope you can find time to think about these questions and post your thoughts for us to discuss.
